BMX Bikes for Adults

We see plenty of guys 16, 18, 20, 22 yrs . old operating around on bicycles made for 8 year old children. I want to believe this option are only dorky dumbasses, but perhaps there is one thing I'm not getting being from an older generation that was raised when you look at the 60s and 70s for which you would-have-been laughed at in the event that you rode a bike that little as a grown-up. Can someone illuminate me personally with this occurrence?

Bonus question: what exactly is with many men slinking around using knit hats or hooded perspiration tops when it is 85 levels exterior? Will they be to their way to rob a 7-11 or this some cool fashion declaration i'm yet again too old to know?

Enter the "by reason of poverty" solution. It is amazing that financially strapped folks will scrimp, conserve and pinch pennies to have their youths a bike. If another person in the house, a much older individual has to reduce the length between two things, he might have no option but borrow the little one sibling or child cousin's cycle. And once again, maybe that's all he could pay for for an entire houseful of kids. The greater impoverished your family, a lot more likely the older siblings or even the parents use the kiddy cycle to get from point A to aim B.

There is absolutely no pity in people making do with what they have.
