When do you start operating?
From centuries 10–13 I happened to be jumping curbs and little dust leaps, but I happened to ben't a separate rider at that point. We became obsessed with flatland once I was 15. I discovered my beginner-level tips from bmxtrix.com – an ageless website that includesn't been updated since 2003. I became consistently inspired through that time, but seeing any sort of BMX or skateboarding on TV would trigger the impulse to drive.

Features it for ages been about cycling, or have other activities affected you?
Before I started operating flatland I happened to be a gymnast from 7–13, and a diver in senior school. We invested most free time turning around back at my family members' garden trampoline as an earlier adolescent too. During my driving many years I've been truly impressed by skateboarding.

How exactly can you explain your riding style?
We make reference to the thing I do just as BMX freestyle. I've included my gymnastic capability to provide my design more of an acrobatic style. I have my origins in flatland but for the last a long period I've averted restricting my tips to a strictly two dimensional area that is synonymous with main-stream flatland biking.

I also intentionally touch the floor during a number of my tricks, which isn't permitted in standard flatland. In 2008 we began utilizing various items within an urban environment, like street riders do, to produce brand-new combos and tips.

Combining flatland-style tips if you use any three dimensional item is a vastly unexplored frontier in BMX.

Some of the tips you are doing are pretty dangerous, how will you approach attempting anything the very first time?
Whenever I produce a technique idea i just go out and try it.
you'll find nothing too elaborate in regards to the process. I will say that many tips work much better into the imagination. I do not get access to advanced safety equipment, more I really do is put on shields, a helmet and a mouthguard when I feel nervous about attempting an innovative new strategy.
What is the worse injury you have had out on the BMX?
Several shoulder dislocations.

Were there any really special moments available through the shooting?
There were several unique moments. Pulling off each technique that I happened to ben't able to exercise during my hometown ended up being really satisfying. Using the services of Andi, Toni, Rutger Pauw and also the staff ended up being a very good experience.
While Rutger and I also had been shooting some photos one day, Danny MacAskill labeled as him and after that I got to speak to Danny over the phone the very first time – that was special.
